Rainbows. So pretty, so uplifting. Rainbows are a classic metaphor full of meanings. Rainbows are a token of optimism, equality, dreams, new beginnings, diversity, hope, etc. and the pot of gold is always goodness.

You have a choice of seeing the good in a bad situation. Though it’s much easier and convenient to react to negativity, be open to giving yourself time to recognize to the goodness. It’s there, I promise.

Life is like a rainbow. Okay, maybe not, but I think you know where I’m going with this. I find that people often fixate on the small bad things in our day, and by doing so, they tend to let that negativity snowball and spiral into a disaster. I use to be like this, and sometimes I still am. But for the most part, I’ve learned I have a choice to be happy. For me, happiness is being confident and comfortable with who I am (and who I am not, for that matter). I’m a big believer in emotional intelligence. It’s helped me come a long way, but I know there’s a long way to go.

So, with this blog, I am going to try to share stories/experiences and find that pot of gold.

Welcome to my journey of learning how to not sweat the small stuff.
